My name is Alex, and I offer IT support specifically for micro and small businesses in Kent, UK. Whether you have a team, or you’re a sole proprietor with a laptop and a smartphone, I’ll provide an affordable service to help you.

Firstly, I’ll offer a friendly and knowledgeable voice for de-confusion, and will answer any questions you have. Then I’ll work with you to figure out the best IT solution for your business. After I’ve implemented the changes, I’ll be on hand to resolve any issues which crop up going forward.

Why 'Simplex'?

The nature of computer technology is unavoidably complex, but that doesn’t mean your experience of computers needs to be complicated.

My job is to deal with the complexity for you, and my aim is to set up your computer system so it’s as robust and as simple to use as possible, with the complexity being handled under the hood. The end result I’m driving at is a smooth and easy interaction between you and your computer, and one which makes your life a lot easier.

This philosophy of simplifying complexity is what I call “simplexity”, hence the name “Simplex”.

Yes, I’ll help you with smartphones

The computers in our lives include smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and other devices too. We use smartphones for tasks as much as we use PCs, if not more so. Therefore, we need to integrate them into a complete IT setup.

Smartphone considerations include handling emails, syncing files in the cloud, cybersecurity, opening Word documents, signing PDFs, and many other tasks.

I can also integrate other computing devices into your IT setup, such as your tablet computer or smartwatch.

Impartial Advice

I’m completely independent in the services which I offer. One of my principles is not to resell products, receive commissions, own shares, buy perfunctory certifications, or gain any other vested interests in particular vendors.

This means my advice is always my honest opinion, and my recommendations are in your interests only.
